AMERICAN cars will be heading to south Devon for the annual weekend festival. 

More than 3,500 visitors are expected to attend the American Car Show which is held at Cofton Holidays in June. 

More than 200 classic American cars including Mustangs, Cadillacs, Chevrolets, Pontiacs, Buicks and Jeeps will be on show at the event which runs from June 21 to 23. 

Now in its seventh year, the show has built a reputation as a destination for motor enthusiasts as well as a great family day out. 

Saturday morning will kick off with a cruise through Dawlish by the beach and back to Dawlish Warren Green. 

Petrol heads can enter their American cars into the judging to be awarded prizes including Best In Show, Director’s Cup, Best Custom / Hot Rod and The People’s Choice Award.

There will be live music from Fabulous 59 Ford, Elvis tribute Adam Carter and Buddy Holly tribute Brohan Collins and a fireworks display on Saturday night.
