Drivers in and around Teignbridge will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• A38, from 8pm March 31 to 4am April 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Harcombe Bends to Belevedere Cross - lane closure for horticulture works.
• A38, from 8pm March 31 to 6am April 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Harcombe Cross entry slip closed -for horticultural works, diversion via B3344 southbound to Chudleigh and rejoin A38 and return northbound.
• A30, from 8pm April 9 to 6am April 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Cheriton Bishop to Fingle Glen - lane closure for electrical works.
• A30, from 7pm April 14 to 6am April 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A38 eastbound to A30 westbound, link road closed for surveys. Diversion via A379, Bad Hamburgway, Alphin Brook Road, Church Road, A377 to A30 Alphington for non-motorway traffic or M5 junction.30 and return to junction 31 to exit.
• A38, from 7pm April 14 to 6am April 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A38 Linhay to Goodstone used as a diversion for 3rd party (E and JW Glendinning Ltd) closure of minor unnamed local road. Includes eastbound, lane closure on the A38.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
