PEACE before the storm… The River Teign looks peaceful and serene the afternoon before Teignbridge was facing Storm Eunice.

Editor Nick Knight took this picture as he headed back to the office after a meeting with pupils of Shaldon Primary School to discuss Climate change and to help judge a writing competition on the subject.

Nick said: ‘Their depth of understanding of the subject and their realisation of what we all need to be doing to avoid a climate disaster was inspirational.’

We will be serialising some of their work from next week’s paper.

In the meantime stay safe today from Storm Eunice and please let us know of any dangers we can warn other people of. Remember there are Red and Amber Warnings in place from the Met Office.
