VISITORS to Torbay Hospital are being warned of more disruption tomorrow as work continues on building new theatres.
To accommodate a large crane needed during the construction, the main Car Park A has been closed temporarily.
Unfortunately due to strong winds, the work has been delayed and may continue to affect access to Car Park A tomorrow, Tuesday.
A spokesman to Torbay and South Devon NHS Trust said: ‘If this is the case, temporary signage and traffic officers will remain in place to help staff and visitors during this time, and minibuses will continue to provide a shuttle service for patients and visitors from alternative car parks to the main entrance and AMU roundabout.
‘Please factor this in to your travel plans if you’re visiting the hospital tomorrow, and make use of our drop-off areas and alternative travel options if possible.
‘We would like to apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and support.’
