POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a serious crash on the A38 at Chudleigh Knighton after three people were injured.
Officers were alerted to the incident on the eastbound carriageway of the A38 at Chudleigh Knight at about 11am on Sunday.
The collision involved an orange Nissan Qashqai and a silver Mitsubishi L200.
A 31-year-old woman passenger was taken to Derriford Hospital with serious injuries, which are not thought to be life changing or life threatening.
A 35-year-old man was taken to Derriford Hospital and was later discharged.
A 77-year-old man was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with minor injuries.
Police investigators are carrying out inquiries into the crash and are appealing for witnesses.
The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene. It was reopened at around 7.20pm.
