On a warm, sunny day with temperatures around 20 degrees and in light winds, half-a-dozen Kennick Fly Fishers made the trip to Sutton Bingham Reservoir, just outside Yeovil, for round seven of the Snowbee Top Rod.
Between them, the six anglers caught 30 fish and for the first time anybody can remember in a club competition everyone was bagged up by 4pm!
Total bag weight was 67lbs 4oz giving an average weight of 2.24lbs, average catch was five fish.
Biggest fish of the day was landed by Alec Hoare (3lbs 2oz).
The winner was John Hern of Exeter with five fish for 11lbs 15oz.
