BADMINTON players from Newton Abbot College bagged themselves a bronze medal in a recent competition.

Four talented students from the school battled it out in the U14 county championships in Paignton last month.

Matty Burgin (second left), George Hillard (left), Zak-Ray Linley-Moss (right) and Harry Powney (second right) took part in both individual and double matches in the round-robin event, securing third place after winning four of their seven matches.
