FIVE enthusiastic primary school teams took part in this year’s Dawlish Water Rotary Club quiz. 

It was a hard-fought competition involving Cockwood, Gatehouse, Our Lady and St Patrick, Kenton and Westcliff primary schools.

The winner was the team from Cockwood School, which will receive a trophy.

Ray Moore, chairman of the club’s youth activities’ committee, said: ‘We have been running this quiz for several years and it represents another contribution to general education - competitive but fun. 

‘We are grateful for the support of the students and teachers, as well as parents.’
