LIVERTON’S Whist Drive is returning on December 3.

The evening, which runs from 7.30pm to 10.30pm takes place at Liverton Village Hall and will raise money for the Ricky Grant Unit at Torbay Hospital.

The event has been organised by villager Douglas Nosworthy. He said: ‘My late wife started the whist drives some 26 years ago, and they’re a very popular event.’

The evenings were put on hold for a couple of years due to the covid pandemic, but they’re now making a welcome pre-Christmas return.
