A DARTMOOR-based village shop has put out a call for additional volunteers.

Ilsington Village Shop, a community shop on Dartmoor selling quality, locally sourced products, is in need of more volunteers to help keep the shop running.

'Thank you to all our volunteers who give up their time to support our shop, and an extra big thanks to everyone who has covered rota gaps this week to keep the shop open!' a spokesperson for the shop said.

'We urgently need more volunteers to help with all kinds of things that keep our shop running' the spokesperson added.
