A COMMUNITY order was imposed on a man who used threatening words or behaviour towards another man in Teignmouth.

Christopher Robin Phillips, aged 55, who gave a c/o address at Probation Bay House, Torquay, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards the other man at Teignmouth on August 13 last year.

He must pay compensation £115 and South and West Devon Magistrates' Court made a community order under which he must complete up to 25 activity days.
