TRIBUTES have been paid to a former Newton Abbot Mayoress, Peggy Vizor, who has died at the age of 95.

Her husband, Allan Vizor said: ‘Myself and family wish to express our heartfelt thanks to the Channel View Surgery, Rowcroft Hospice at Home Care, District Community Nurses and all carers whose support has been outstanding.’

The family urged people to make a donation, if desired, to Rowcroft Hospice.
