FIVE shopping trolleys, a bike, a pair of shoes and a ‘for sale’ sign... that was what was fished out of Newton Abbot’s quay by the town council’s facilities maintenance officers.

The team of Dave, Steve and Tony removed the above mentioned items from the town’s quay during their wor k to keep Newton Abbot clean and tidy.

Elsewhere, the team removed graffiti from one of the town’s entrance signs and refurbished some of the benches in Victoria Gardens.
