BOVEY Tracey Town Council is once again seeking nominations for its community awards.
The town council’s annual event celebrates outstanding residents of both Bovey Tracey and Heathfield.
The four awards are ‘Community Champion’, ‘Young Citizen of the Year’, ‘Environmental Champion’ and ‘Honorary Representative of the Lord of the Manor of Bovey Tracey’
Nominations can be for individuals, voluntary groups or businesses that have made highly valued contributions to help those in need.
Those nominated must agree in advance to being nominated and those under 18-years-old must have parental or guardian approval.
The qualification criteria for each award is available on the council’s website - www.boveytracey.gov.uk - and on its Facebook account.
Residents, voluntary group colleagues, visitors or customers with a good experience or knowledge of the nominee’s activities are invited to make the nominations.
The deadline for submitting nominations is Monday, March 3.
The winner will be announced at the Annual Town Meeting on Wednesday, March 26.
