Teignbridge's motorists will have nine road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that nine closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• A38, from 10am to 2pm on April 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Dumbridges exit slip lane closure for electrical works.
• A38, from 8pm April 11 to 6am April 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 both directions Chudeligh to Heathfield - lane closure for verge/off-road works.
• A38, from 8pm April 13 to 6am April 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 both directions Chudeligh to Heathfield - lane closure for verge/off-road works.
• A38, from 8pm April 17 to 6am April 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Peartree A385 to Goodstone A383 (Ashburton) lane closures and convoy working for white lining.
• A38, from 8pm April 17 to 6am April 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Splatford Split junction, Kennford to Belvedere Cross carriageway closure for road markings, diversion via A380 Telegraph Hill and local road past Exeter Racecourse.
• A38, from 8pm April 17 to 6am April 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Linhay B3352 entry slip road closed for white lining, diversion, A38 westbound to Peartree A385 and return.
• A38, from 8pm April 17 to 6am April 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Goodstone exit slip road closed for white lining, diversion, A38 eastbound to Drumbridges A382 and return via minor roads through Bickington.
• A38, from 8pm April 18 to 6am April 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Chudleigh entry slip road closure for road markings, diversion via A38 westbound to Drumbridges.
• A38, from 8pm April 21 to 6am April 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Haldon Hill lane closure for Openreach works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
