Teignbridge's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

A30, from 8am July 30 to 6pm August 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 Haldon hill to M5 jct 31, and A30 from M5, junction 31 to Alphington used as a diversion route for Openreach closure of Ide High Street.

A30, from 7pm August 1 to 6am August 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Woodleigh to Alphington carriageway closure for road markings, diversion via Tedburn St Mary, Tedburn Road and Ide Lane, No access to/from A30 westbound, at Fingle Glen.

A30, from 8pm August 1 to 6am August 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Fingle Glen lane closure for road markings.

A38, from 8pm August 6 to 4am August 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Harcombe Cross to Splatford split, lane closure for emergency barrier repairs.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
