A TEIGNMOUTH teenage Sea Scout leader has completed a gruelling charity bike ride, raising more than £2,200.
Nineteen-year-old Kieran Tucker is a well known young leader with the River Teign Sea Scouts.
He took part in a four-day bicycle ride from London to Amsterdam, via Calais and Bruges, in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Along with 73 other cyclists, Kieran, a former student at Teignmouth Community School and Shaldon Primary School, set off on June 19 from Crystal Place in London.
The 369-mile route finished outside the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
The ride is described as one of Europe’s most iconic rides and a once in a lifetime experience.
Kieran has thanked everyone who helped him raise money through contribution on his fundraising website and collection boxes where he works at Ashley Way post office and Shaldon Bakery.
