POLICE are reminding drivers to extra care on Devon’s roads as heavy rain and wind continue to batter the county.
Devon and Cornwall Police are warning of ‘challenging travelling conditions’ this morning, Monday, January 27.
They are drawing particular attention to the A380 at Telegraph Hill and the A38 at Haldon Hill, which are often troublesome during periods of bad weather.
Also, police are warning of pockets of flood water on the A30 and A303.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: ‘There are challenging travelling conditions this morning.
‘Please take extra care and allow additional travelling time’.
What roads are affected in Teignbridge?
• The B3193 at Chudleigh Knighton is closed in both directions due to flooding.
• Drivers can expect delays on the northbound carriageway of the A38, from McDonalds to Splatford Split, due to ice on the road.
