POLICE are appealing for information following a spate of car break-ins.

Officers are aware of reports of several vehicles being smashed during the early hours of Wednesday, July 3, in Kingskerswell and in the Chelston area of Torquay, as well as Cockington and Paignton.

During the break-ins windows were smashed and cars’ contents rummaged through.

Some items were then stolen.
