NEWTON Abbot's temporary Market Hall is taking shape with the new sign now in place.

The inside looks bare, but there are still several months to go before traders are set to move in.

The temporary space inside the former Post Office building will be home of the town’s indoor traders until the renovation of the Market Hall is completed.

Though not all traders were allocated a space.

At least three traders were not allocated a place in the temporary market, the Mid-Devon Advertiser understands.

And this does not include the two cafés - the Bay Tree and The Cheeky Cherry - the former of which has taken on a unit in Market Walk and the latter closed some months ago.
