IT IS a mystery that would tax even Sherlock Holmes.How did a village show cup disappear for more than 70 years, and turn up in a school trophy cabinet more than 100 miles away?Sleuths in Stokeinteignhead are trying to find the answer and would welcome any clues from readers.The puzzle began when the bursar of Court Moor School in Fleet, Hampshire, was clearing out the cabinet and came across a silver cup she did not recognise. nobody at the school knew anything about it.It was inscribed the Orestone Cup, but had no names and very little information apart from the date 1939, and the name of the Stokeinteignhead Horticultural Society.
