A South Devon school video on climate change has gone viral – with more than 50,000 online views in the last two weeks.

Torquay Girls’ Grammar, including students from Teignbridge, put the video out on YouTube to coincide with this week’s UN Climate Action Summit in New York and last Friday’s School Strike for Climate day.

To the tune of ‘We didn’t start the fire’ by Billy Joel the girls reel off lists of the side effects of climate change around the world at the moment, including melting glaciers, rising seas and increases in famine and disease, and a call for action.
