TWO new trees have been planted in the grounds of Teignbridge Council’s headquarters.
Both were chosen to create a lasting memory to the late Queen Elizabeth II and the accession of King Charles III.
An English Oak was planted for the late Queen and a tulip tree to mark the new King’s reign.
Both were planted at Forde House in Newton Abbot by chairman of the council Cllr Chris Clarance, accompanied by Cllr Phil Bullivant who put forward the motion to plant the trees, and other members of the council.
