TEIGNMOUTH rockers Muse are raking it in from their live shows.
Rated by many to be the best live act in the business, the trio are grossing, on average, nearly a million dollars from each gig.
Data from Pollstar reveals that Muse make about £675,000 from every live performance around the world, for which the average ticket price is around £44.
But the group are dwarfed by superstar Taylor Swift, who averages a staggering £3,156,000 per show, with a ticket price of £75; Madonna on about £1,744,000, and tickets at £86, and Elton John at £1,299,000, and tickets £90.
Muse are ninth in the top-ten concert tour list – which is easily topped by Taylor Swift – and their ticket prices are the lowest.
A lot of the group’s income also comes from merchandising sales.
