LOVERS of all thing motorbike are in for a treat this weekend.
Bikes in the Park 2 is taking over Mill Marsh park in Bovey Tracey this Sunday, where hundreds of enthusisasts are expected to meet.
As well as stands by leading South West dealers there’s live music on stage, a fairground and of course plenty of motorcycles to admire, with trophies being awarded for best bikes in their categories.
Legendary motorcyclist Eddie Kidd be appearing on stage and will lead off a run to Two Bridges at 10am.
A spokesman said: ‘This is bigger and better than last year! This proved to be a big favourite last year being the friendliest bike event around! With top Main Dealers such as Plymouth Triumph and Plymouth Harley in attendance along with Davants, CMS you will get to see a great range of new and exciting Bikes.
‘Training Schools such as Upass will be there too if you want to book your CBT or Big Bike test.Funlands Funfair will be running all weekend if you fancy a ride or 2 on the waltzers or Dodgems.
‘Steve Parr will be keeping us entertained with his musical and compère talent and we will have live music on the main stage. So much to see and do. Can’t wait to see you all again!’
Chris Sims of The Jolly Roger added: ‘So… who’s up for a rideout on Sunday morning for the “Ride With Eddie”?
‘ It’s one for the bucket list, a rideout with the greatest motorcycle stunt rider ever!
Eddie is up for this, he will be up front riding on a trike and everyone will be able to join in and ride along with Eddie and take him on a tour of our beautiful countryside over Dartmoor!
‘Leaving the Jolly around 10am and going up to Moretonhampstead, across Dartmoor to Two Bridges, through Dartmeet and down to Ashburton and back on the A38 to the show.
‘Cost is £10 per bike and this includes entry into Bikes In The Park 2 on your return. The money raised goes towards Eddie’s healthcare.’
The event in the park is free to walk in and will conclude at 6pm.
