THE premier screening of a local feature film will be screened at Cockwood Village Hall on Saturday. (Nov 23)

From the Ground has been created by the Buckfastleigh-based film production company King-Collins Productions.

Director Luke King Abbott said: ‘The film centres around a brother counselling his sister’s ghost over her own death and, in the process, coming to terms with the loss himself.

‘It features the local pub, the Anchor Inn, and several of the residents appear in a core scene in the film.’

The premiere is taking place at 4.30pm and is free entry.
