OUTDOOR swimmers will be able to enjoy the Teignmouth Lido when it finally reopens.
Teignbridge Council has announced the 25 metre open air pool is due to open at the end of May.
The popular pool has suffered various setbacks since the Covid pandemic.
But since an £800,000 decarbonation scheme was completed and staff are being recruited, it is expected to be back up and running by the end of May.
As well as the heated pool, there are changing rooms with hot showers and toilets and lockers available.
There is also a seating area for spectators as well as a vending machine for drinks and snacks.
