POLICE paid a visit to Bovey Tracey’s youth cafe to talk to staff and young people.
PCSOs Tina Jordan and Paul Wilson arranged the visit as part of Neighbourhood Engagement Week.
They said: ‘The venue is a safe place where young people can gather to socialise, listen to music, use the computers or seek advice from staff and it’s all free.
‘It was a nice experience for us which we will repeat in the coming weeks and months.’
The cafe opens twice a week currently for years 6 to 10 between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
