SHALDON Parish Council has taken over the running of the King George V playing fields.

‘We are delighted to announce that Shaldon Parish Council has now taken on the lease for the Playpark at King George V field.

‘We would especially like to thank The KGV Play Park Group for their involvement and commitment and the driving force of Cllr Tim O’Donnell behind them to make this happen and look forward to a new chapter in the Playpark’s history.

‘We could not have reached this stage without all their hard work done so far and to come.

‘Further information will be provided regarding fundraising and design of the park in the future.’
