The rail that holds these outfits takes quite a beating so when the old rail was getting past its best the Museum turned to Men in Sheds.
Paul Lentel, of the Strand Centre, organiser, was eager to help and within two weeks, the museum took delivery of a beautiful wooden rack, made of recycled bed frame, from Bruce Foster and Peter Bilby.
‘This will certainly withstand the rough and tumble of eager would-be pirates,’ said Liz Botterill.
‘The Museum is so grateful and it is wonderful how one charity can help another.
‘Everyone’s a winner! Thank you.’
