A BIDDING war is hotting up on ebay for a collection of Muse memorabilia.
All four Teignmouth rockers signed a copy of their new DVD, Drones, the insert lyrics booklet, and the set list from this year’s Download Festival, part of the band’s current world tour.
The set list is from Tom Kirk, Muse’s media manager, and is the one he used on the night with his handwritten technical notes.
The collection has been framed by The Framing Lot of Dawlish, and all the money raised will go to the Helen Foundation – named after Mr Kirk’s sister who died in a car crash – which helps young people in Teignbridge to progress in the arts world.
Roger Kirk, from the Shaldon-based charity, said: ’We are delighted to offer foundation supporters and Muse fans this opportunity to buy this unique memorabilia.
’We are very grateful to Muse, who are patrons of the foundation, for supplying the item and for those who have bid.
‘One hundred per cent of the proceeds will go to the foundation, whose only expense has been to have the signed pieces framed.’
On Wednesday the bidding had reached £670, and closes on Saturday (Novemeber 25.
