FEW, if any, cookbooks are endorsed by supergroup Muse.
But the famous Teignmouth rockers have backed a publication, produced to raise money for a village school.
They signed a 'best of luck' message for Teign Cooks, a glossy book, full of simple recipes from celebrity and local chefs and individuals.
It was a labour of love for Christina Kok, a 45-year-old mum-of-three from Teignmouth, who masterminded the project as a fundraiser for the Friends of Shaldon School, despite suffering from cancer.
And it is selling like hot cakes – more than 200 in a week – as folk in the Shaldon and Teignmouth area snap them up at £10 a time.
