A SUPPORT group for men has paid tribute to one of its team after a body was found in a search for a missing man.
43-year-old James Corner was reported missing on Thursday, May 9.
Police confirmed that a body was found in the Newton Abbot area on Friday, May 10.
James’ family were informed, though formal identification had not yet taken place at that time.
Andy’s Man Club, where James was a facilitator, confirmed his passing in a post to its Facebook page.
A spokesman for the club said: ‘It’s with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to James.
‘After turning up over a year ago already knowing a great deal about what we do, he tried it for himself.
‘He made considerable progress and we decided to make him a facilitator to help him help other men.
‘Not only did he help countless men, he helped his fellow facilitators, he made us laugh, he made us cry, we resonated with what he said and the way he could clear a room with his farts was on another level haha.
‘Here’s to you James, our brother.’
The cause of death is not known at this time.
The post by Andy’s Man Club, which supports men struggling with their mental health, garnered more than 500 reactions, with as many as 60 comments of condolence.
