THE FUTURE of one of Teignmouth’s major national stores remains unclear after the company went into administration.

Clothes retailer M&Co appointed administrators as it collapsed for the second time in two years.

The company has a store in Bank Street, Teignmouth, one of 170 shops across the country.

Comments on social media described the announcement as ‘sad’ and a ‘shame’.

No decision has been made about the future of the store or its staff. Efforts are being made to find a buyer for the business.
