RAINA Greifer will perform her solo show MANIC in Newton Abbot Library at 3.30pm on Saturday, November 12.
Winner of Best Solo Show at FUSE International 2022, MANIC is a solo show that combines spoken word, puppetry, and theatre. Through poetry, comedy, and one very awkward encounter with a cheese string, Raina begins to explore questions about bad sex, drunk sex, and the grey areas of consent.
Raina Greifer is a theatre maker, artist and writer based in Bath. Her work tends to be colourful and textured, combining a confessional style of storytelling with poetic imagery.
The event is part of a partnership project where arts organisations and libraries work together to platform and amplify diverse voices in non-urban spaces, taking place in libraries across Devon this month.
The project has been made possible by the National Rural Touring Forum. Delivered by the Touring Arts In Libraries Project in partnership with Villages in Action.
