DAWLISH Town Council offices have been closed today due to an ‘unforeseen structural issue’.
No further details were released about the exact nature of the problem.
But the Georgian Listed Manor House, which is owned by the town council, has been out of action since this morning.
This has meant the town council offices and staff have been unable to work and are working from home.
Anyone who had hired any of the rooms available to book have been contacted.
A town council spokesman said: ‘Town council staff will be working from home until the building is able to reopen which will hopefully be without delay.’
Anyone needing to contact the town council should call 01626 863388 or email [email protected]
A spokesman said: ‘We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience. ‘Further updates will follow.’
