LIBRARIES across Teignbridge will close for one day next week as the charity that runs them holds its annual staff conference.

Libraries Unlimited holds its all-staff conference next Thursday, March 13.

Libraries across Devon will, therefore, be closed for the day.

‘We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and hope that the advance notice will help you plan your visit for another time’ the charity said.

Regular scheduled events, including Newton Abbot Library’s ‘Books & Breakfast’ and ‘Get That Job’ will not take place.

Normal service resumes the following day, Friday, March 14.

The charity’s digital library will remain open, as will its BorrowBox service.
