The French and I believe the Spanish are putting solar panels over their car parks. Why doesn’t Teignbridge do that?

We also have the market hall roof. That should give heat and light to the Town hall and museum and a few other places like the street lights and parking meters. We could employ our own staff to do it and buy the panels direct from the manufacturers; cut out the middle men. We could also husband the rain water.
