OVER 200 youngsters marked the colourful return of a popular festive event in Newton Abbot last night (Wednesday) 

The town’s annual Christmas Lantern parade illuminated the town with a colourful display.

The procession set off from Bearnes School in  Queen Street and wound its way away  through the town finishing at St Leonard’s tower when a story featuring all the characters was performed to spectators.
