VOLUNTEERS and supporters of the Teignmouth National Coastwatch Institute (NCI) celebrated the 15th anniversary of the station with a get-together at the Cockhaven Manor Arms, Bishopsteignton.
The Teignmouth lookout station has been keeping ‘eyes along the coast’ for the safety of all types of sea craft – everything from children on inflatables, to commercial shipping, and beach-goers and walkers along the sea wall.
Local MP Anne Marie Morris presented award certificates and badges for 15 years of voluntary and dedicated service, to Anne and Peter Channing, Peter Tysoe and Ian Radford.
