ALL are welcome at Hennock Parish Council's first nature walk exploring the local area.
The social slow-paced walk, which is to take place on Wednesday, August 2, will be around Chudleigh Knighton Heath and is the first 'Climate and Sustainability Group Community Nature Walk'
The Climate and Sustainability Group is a new working group formed by Hennock Parish Council to 'support and empower our local community on issues of climate change and environmental sustainability'
'We'd love to hear your views on what issues are important to you or if particular concern' a spokesperson for Hennock Parish Council said.
'This walk is an opportunity to meet others in the community, appreciate our beautiful local wildlife and chat' the spokesperson added.
The walk will be gentle paced, departing at 7pm from the Play Park Car Park, and arriving back by 8:30pm.
It should be noted that while children are welcome but the council ask that they are accompanied by an adult.
The paths are uneven and can be a little overgrown so sturdy footwear, trousers or leggings, to avoid tick and insect bites, are advised.
