RADDON Hill Clog Morris will represent Newton Abbot as part the Besigheim wine festival in Germany this September.

Raddon Hill have been asked to perform North West clog dances on the main festival stage, having been invited by Newton Abbot Twinning Association.

Patricia Pateman of the group says: ‘The Germans are very keen on traditional folk music and dance.

'This will be a golden opportunity for both parties to experience one another’s customs and cultures.'

Those wishing to learn more about North West Clog dancing, Raddon Hill Clog Morris will be holding a free taster evening at Kingsteignton Community Hall on Tuesday, September 5, from 8pm to 9.30pm.
