THE three grandchildren of a Teignmouth couple were jointly christened at a church in the town.
The babies were born within a few months of each other.
And Paul Dyson, a solicitor, and his wife Gaye, a teacher at Rydon Primary School, Kingsteignton, gathered with 150 friends and relatives from all over the country, Wales and Ireland at Our Lady & St Patrick Catholic Church for the unusual ceremony on Saturday.
'It is very rare to have three grandchildren baptised at the same time, but because they were all born so close, the family decided it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity too good to miss,' said Mr Dyson.
