A VEHICLE fire on the northbound carriageway of the A380 saw the team from Dawlish Fire Station scrambled.
The incident, which took place yesterday morning, December 4, saw two crew members, clad in Breathing Apparatus (BA) equipment, extinguish the fire, while other crew members closed off one lane and kept the other open for traffic to pass.
'Just over an hour later our work was done and traffic was able to move freely past the incident once more' a spokesman for Dawlish Fire Station said.
