A BARN dance and apple day are on at Hennock this weekend. The events, organised by the village community, primary school and village hall, are at West Hele Barn.

Today’s barn dance begins at 6pm and features live music, hog roast, bar and a big draw. All proceeds will go to Hennock Primary School.

Tomorrow’s Hennock apple day includes cider pressing demonstrations, apple games, cider bar, barbecue, apple cake teas and refreshments, stalls including plants, local Hennock honey and meats, live music and a raffle.

The day runs from 10.30am to 4pm.
