TO ensure it looks its very best ahead of the weekend, a parish council is calling upon volunteers to join its beach clean-up.
With the Shaldon Water Carnival on Saturday, August 5, and Regatta week soon approaching, Shaldon Parish Council is promoting two beach tidy ups.
'If you can bring along a rake and black bin bag that would help considerably,' a spokesman for Shaldon Parish Council said.
'We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible' the spokesman added.
