A NUMBER of people have appeared before South and West Devon Magistrates' Court for travelling on trains without a ticket and were fined.
Shannon McFadden, aged 20, of Wolborough Street, Newton Abbot, did not have a ticket at Newton Abbot. She was fined £220, ordered to pay £180 costs and £88 to fund victim services. She must pay £6.45 compensation.
Christian Rowe, aged 49, of Maudlin Drive, Teignmouth, did not have a ticket at Saltash. He was fined £220, ordered to pay £180 costs and £88 to fund victim services. He must pay £80.20 compensation.
Alex Warren-Lean, aged 29, of Plymouth, failed to hand over a ticket at Newton Abbot. He was fined £220, ordered to pay £180 costs and £88 to fund victim services. He must pay £13.20 compensation.
Daniel Michael Banks, aged 28, of Topsham Road, Exeter, did not have a ticket at Starcross. He was fined £220, ordered to pay £180 costs and £88 to fund victim services. He must pay £5.10 compensation.
Luke Butler, aged 35, of Cressal Mead, Leatherhead, did not have a ticket at Newton Abbot. He was fined £220, ordered to pay £180 costs and £88 to fund victim services. He must pay £233.60 compensation.
