I'm not good after 6pm. I'm not that brilliant before either, but daytime I'm better. Unfortunately for my body-clock, this year's Ship Inn Music Festival kicked off at 6.45pm on Friday which neatly leads me to my next point: anyone else think the bank holiday weekend was actually next week?

So I'm a week out and it's thrown me. The Blue Anchor's doing music as well, The Red Arrows are flying, my wife's treating me to the last-ever Carlton Show featuring the Abba tribute band on Saturday and the circus has just hit town!
