TONIGHT’S the night for the grand finale of Dawlish Celebrates Carnival week.
Entrants are gearing up for the community parade which will feature, for the last time as it is their last year of touring, the colourful Rampage Mas.
A carnival spokesman said: ‘It’s community parade day so everyone bring your coins and come and watch.
‘We have Rampage Mas with us in the parade and then on the Lawn, what a treat as this is their last year touring.’
Before the parade, there will be live music on the bandstand including the Sing It! 24 competition winner.
There’s no judging this year but individuals and organisations will get rosettes for taking part
The Cofton Holidays tractor will be escorting the Mayor and Town Crier.
The parade will start from John Nash at 7.15pm and will end on Brunswick Street at about 8.15pm having taken a route around the town.
Road closures will be in place.
