A DAWLISH foodbank is working ‘harder than ever’ to help people in the community.
The Strand Community Centre foodbank is seeing more people who are struggling to put food on the table and organisers are appealing for help.
It is particularly hoping for donations of essential items to keep its shelves full.
Items include tinned meat and vegetables, biscuits, tea and coffee, cereals and porridge, instant potato, pasta and rice as well as toilet rolls, soap and shampoo.
A spokesman said: ‘We’re working harder than ever to keep our food bank stocked and ready to help.
‘But we can’t do it without you, every donation, big or small, makes a huge difference to someone in need. If you can help, please drop off items at The Strand Centre.
‘Thank you Dawlish for your kindness and support.’
